FORGEOne wildcard slot
People's Choice
Every other spotlight is earned by readiness and a fair lottery — reach can't buy them. This one slot is the exception: the community's free vote. Back the ready projects you believe in (one vote each); when the slot is free, the most-backed project takes it and keeps it until it finishes.

How People's Choice works
Only ready projects (real goal, crew, tasks, a build-log entry) can be backed, so votes can never push an empty project into the spotlight. You get one vote per project, and votes never reset. When the slot is free, the most-backed ready project takes it once it has at least 3 votes — and keeps it until the project finishes. A tie at the top waits for more votes to break it. It's the only slot a steward can cancel.
